Avison Resource Planner – Crew

The Avison Resource Planner Crew provides airlines with a long term and short term resource plan of the exact number of crew (full time equivalents (FTE)) by rank/base/fleet, required to operate the flight schedule.

The short term plan is based on mandays and provides a running daily/weekly/monthly total of FTE required, average duty times and block hours as well as a detailed leave plan, standby plan, training plan and days off plan so the admin can see where the peaks and troughs are and change the plans to ensure the optimum number of FTEs to operate the schedule.

The application also has a cost functionality to provide finance with a detailed breakdown of the actual and forecast crew costs

Avison Resource Planner – Ground

Passenger aircraft loading of baggage into the cargo bay at the airport

The Avison Resource Planner Ground provides airlines with a long and short term plan of the exact number of ground handling staff and ground service equipment (GSE) by type/qualification required to handle the flight schedule at any particular station.

The short term plan is based on an algorithm using number and qualifications of staff required to check-in passengers and turn an aircraft dependent on aircraft type and passenger load.  This will allow the ground operations manager to plan his resources to cover the peaks and ensure they have enough qualified staff and correct equipment.

The module also has a cost functionality to provide finance with a detailed breakdown of the actual and forecast ground handling resource costs
